Twinkle Review: Does It Worth $99?

Vidello company after getting huge success of createstudio launch a new product twinkle.

Unlike createstudio this is is cloud-based solution. Not everyone need this program even if you are looking for music.

Here in this post, I will share my honest opinion about this product.

Why Trust Me

Hi, my name is Harinderpreet Singh. On this blog I mainly review software. I make sure that before reviewing I use the product by myself. Here is my receipt. In other words, this review is coming from geniue person who spend his own money on the product.

What is Exactly Twinkle?

Most people aware that twinkle is an online royalty-free music library. However, it does more than this.

You are also getting a text-to-speech feature. (Micmonster is the best to text to speech solution, check the full review here)

If you go with the $99 deal then you are also getting VFX effects. That you can use while making videos.

You are also getting Soundfx library.

Here are the few music samples.

The world limit is 3000 per voiceover. There is no merge feature nor storage option. Download it now or forget it.

Price & License information

If you have visited the twinkle sales page then you know there are two plans. Personal and Commercial

Personal license $49Commercial license $99
Lifetime accessLifetime access
New tracks every monthNew tracks every month
Unlimited DownloadsUnlimited Downloads
Soundfx librarySoundfx library
VFX pack
Commercial license

99% people will choose $99 plan. The team introduce $49 plan so you compare $49 with $99.

There is no upsell or any other kind of hidden fees, at least right now while righting this article.

Pros & Cons

Superfast Speed: The website is really fast. I visited some other royalty-free sites and those sites aren’t slow however twinkle site is really fast. Music starts playing instantly as you click the play button.

Request track feature: In the sidebar you can find request track feature.

Cons

Small library: Currently while writing this article there are only 16 categories available. I miss the uplift category.

music track types in twinkle

I even go one step fruther and count all of the music files.

Cinematic (56)
Christmas (18)
Corporate (42)
Dance (43)
Happy (37)
Hip Hop (90)
Funk (13)
Indie (24)
Pop (52)
Logo idents (90)
Minimal (30)
Rock (37)
Quirky & Funk (15)
Ukulele (41)
Stomp (40)
Vloggers (12)

So you are getting 559 tracks. No doubt, team is adding new tracks. I even see (New) keyword label on some tracks.

Interface: Createstudio always tries to do things differently that I don’t understand. Why they want to make things complicated. Look at the dashboard.

So there is no muisc wavelength. You can listen from anywhere. You just have play & pause button.

Who Should Not Buy It?

If you already own the createstudio software then there is one oto known as media upgrade. It will cost you $97.

And if you upgraded you are getting exact same music & sound fx files. Createstudio already has text to speech in their $67 deal.

And if you already purchase that upsell then you don’t this new product from vidello. At least now when you have almost the same tracks. Maybe in the future team will make the twinkle library much bigger that it will make sense for everyone.

Looking at the company background, vidello generally update their products. So maybe in near future, they have a solid plan for twinkle.

Conclusion

Although I have reviewed this software but sadle I don’t know how to review music library properly because I don’t need royality free music library.

However I try to provide all the information that can help anyone to make decision either he/she need twinkle or not.

If you think that I miss something then let me know by the comment section. I will happy to help you.
